Hi my name is Emma and I have been with Little Twisters since 2012 and have been part of the team since before we opened the door to our first “Little Twisters”. I have worked in Early Years for 20 years and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t absolutely love my job. My role is to manage and lead the team as well as act as the nursery lead in safeguarding, health and safety and special education. I enjoy spending time on the nursery floor with the children and work mostly within Grasshoppers and particularly enjoy yoga, dance and exercise sessions sharing the importance of staying healthy through movement.
Hi my name is Caitlin; I began my journey at Little Twisters as a student in 2016. I then went on to begin my time as a nursery practitioner in February 2017. I have spent time as a room leader within all of the rooms. I am currently Deputy Manager, I split my time between the office and the floor supporting both Emma and the girls. One of my favourite things to do with the children is dance and sing, encouraging them to laugh and have fun! I also love to encourage the children to discuss their emotions. In my free time I like to spend time with family and friends. I also love to have fun days out with my little girl Harper and my new baby boy Vinnie.
Hi my name is Grace and I began working at Little Twisters in July 2022. I have spent time in the Grasshopper room and the Caterpillar room. I enjoy doing creative activities with the children. In my spare time I like to go on long walks with my dog and spend time with my friends and family.
Hi, My name is Ellie. I am a level two qualified practitioner. I have been a student at Little Twisters since 2022 and whilst working towards my level three I work part time across all of the rooms as I build knowledge and practice in Early years education. In my spare time I enjoy spending time going for meals with my family as well as going shopping with friends.
Hello, my name is Jess. I joined the Little Twisters team as a student in 2022. I gained experience working in each room, observing and learning from my colleagues on how the nursery runs. I am based in the Caterpillar room now, although I do still support throughout the nursery. My favourite thing to do with the children is read stories and sing songs. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
Hello my name is Kirsty and I am lunch cover at Little Twisters. I have worked in childcare for four years and I love helping children grow into the amazing little people they were born to be. I used to be a children’s entertainer so I have lots of time and energy for all things singing and dancing. I also love to spend time reading stories to the children. I have a seven-year-old son, we love going for picnics and playing Roblox together.
Hi, I’m Emma and I am new to the Little Twisters team, starting in April 2024 as an Early Years Practitioner. I really enjoy reading with the children, getting lost in stories and encouraging their imaginations. Reading is something I love to do in my spare time too. I also like to involved in creative activities with the children.
Hi my name is Caitlyn. I’ve been working at Little Twisters since 2022, but recently made the decision to join the team full time which I’m really happy about. At work, I love getting stuck in and enjoy messy play with the children. When I’m not at work I like going for long walks and exploring new places, as well as socialising with my friends. I’m also partial to a holiday or two!
Hi my name is Rachael and I have worked at Little Twisters for over six years. At the moment I cover in all rooms which I really enjoy as it means I get to take part in lots of different activities with all of the children. I love to get involved in messy and creative activities the most. In my spare time I love to get outdoors and explore new places with my little boy. We love to visit museums and the park.
Hi my name is Faith; I joined the team in September 2025. I love encouraging children to participate in all activities on offer, particularly the messy ones. I also enjoy singing and reading to the children. In my spare time I love playing with my little brother and exploring loads of different places, and also socialising with all of my friends and family.
Hi, my name is Danielle and I work part time at Little Twisters. I hold a Level 6 qualification, working with children and young people. I have over 10 years’ experience working with children mainly under 2 years old. I really enjoy watching children learn, grow and develop. I enjoy lots of messy play with the children alongside singing, dancing, reading stories and having cuddles. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my six year old son always on an adventure and with family friends.
Hi my name is Sam. I began my journey at little twisters in March 2021. I am based in the Grasshopper room and love that I get to watch the children learn and grow throughout their time in our room. I enjoy singing with the children and building tall towers that children of all ages can enjoy. In my spare time I love spending time with my little boys, family and friends.
My name is Melissa, I have worked in childcare for over 14 years. Throughout my time within childcare I have experienced many different roles and also spent time working with all ages from birth up to 9 years old. I live with my husband, our 3 children (2 girls and 1 boy) and our family zoo (2 dogs, 3 cats and 1 rabbit). I also have two self-employed businesses so I am always on the go. You may see me at Tynemouth market on a Sunday or at funfair events on the weekend doing face painting. I enjoy going with my family on holidays and family days out. We enjoy theme parks, butterfly world and water park days. I also enjoy going out on drives down the coast.
Hi my name is Hannah. I joined the team in April 2022. I am based in the caterpillar room and I am currently working towards a level three qualification in childcare. I love to plan a range of sensory based experiences for the children to explore, allowing them to use their senses. I also enjoy spending time reading books to the children. In my spare time I enjoy going for long walks and listening to music. I also enjoy spending time with my family.
Hi, I’m Emma and I work part-time at Little Twisters, joining the team in October 2023. I enjoy setting up messy play activities and observing the children taking part. In my spare time, I love having days out with my two young children and relaxing at a spa day when I get a chance.
Hi, my name is Alicia, I started in September 2025 and I have a degree in Childhood and Early Years studies which I gained at Northumbria University in 2019. I thoroughly enjoy creating a range of different sensory trays for the children to explore and also singing to the children. I love to spend time with my little boy and partner on the weekends, and in between I like to read and bake.
Hi my name is Ellisha, I recently joined Little Twisters in September as an Early Years Practitioner. I am based in the Grasshopper room with the older children. One of my favourite things to do with the children is drawing or painting. I also enjoy playing with the children in the role play area. I spend my free time with my family and friends, often taking my daughter Grace to gymnastics or my little boy Harry to the soft play.
Hi my name is Gemma. I began my journey at Little Twisters in October 2025. I am based in the Caterpillar room. I’m a dedicated Early Years Educator with twenty years of experience. I’m very passionate, ensuring I am the best role model to the children, creating a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for the children. Enabling children to reach their full potential through play and care. I really enjoy singing, dancing, messy play and reading books with the children. I have two children and I just love family time, exploring the outdoors and being the best Mam I can be.
